Tropfest

Huge amount of people in the Domain this year for Tropfest – 105,000 apparently. We rocked up about half an hour before the starting time and had a lot of trouble finding seating. The quality of entries this year was even better than last year’s. I pretty much agreed with the choice of winners.

You definately have to turn up earlier than that to Tropfest to get a good spot. My brother and I always organise a big group and get there before lunch and literaly stake out our area with blankets and rope. Friends arrive through the course of the day and show their thanks with gifts of food and alcohol.

This year, we were about halfway between where the judges were and the screens.
