One Perfect Day
Didn’t have the typical feel of an Aussie movie, which was a good change. Music track was great to listen to (or would have been had the stupid cinema speaker system not cut out every two minutes). Not too bad a flick, it was more than I thought it’d be.
SPOILER
Let me say right now the fact that everyone dies who takes drugs is a long way removed from the truth; even the newspapers/media don’t hype drug usage up that much. It took me quite a while to get passed that, but once I had, I quite enjoy the rest of the movie and the refreshing movie.

Its not meant to be taken as fact, look at all the other stuff in the movie it’s hardily realistic. They don’t hype the deaths either they are just part of the story of self-discovery for the lead. In fact they are almost insignificant to the story.
The last half of the movie gets a big amateurish, but I still enjoyed it very much.
Anyway in how many action movies do you see people die, people don’t go winging about how that is unrealistic. It’s an artsy movie it’s not meant to be realistic.
