Amex Black

Everyone knows what an American Express platinum credit card is, and what it means. You can’t apply for it – Amex has to invite you to sign up for it. There is, however, a card placed above the lofty status of the platinum – the enigmatic American Express Black Card. Apparently, if Amex deems you worthy of this card, they just send you one out of the blue. This Time article sheds some light on the black piece of plastic, which carries no credit limit.
