Chernobyl – A couple decades later

That’s a very interesting and intriguing page to read. Mainly what gets me is the description of true dead silence and its pervasiveness in the zones. I haven’t read it lately, but it was very weird when I last read it. I would’ve never thought that simply staying off the dirt would keep the contamination to a minimum.
