Expenses

I just have to say that Rome is horrendously expensive compared to when I was here five years ago. That’s what conversion to the Euro does, I suppose… makes everything 60% more expensive for an Aussie. Ouch.

Obviously the Euro is used throughout Italy….but do you mean just Rome or all of Italy?

Oh yeah, I mean all of Italy… especially Venice because it’s essentially a tourist city – even the locals tend to live on the mainland because it’s so pricey.
