Weather Vane

Added a weather indicator in the sidebar (above “Alternatives”). It’s parsed and cached from the BOM every hour. If the Bureau changes their page structure, it’ll wreck the whole thing, so hopefully that doesn’t happen.

Hmm Sydney weather … if you could make it report weather for any Australian city (or at least the major ones), perhaps set to the reader’s city by a cookie, now _that_ would be useful.

As for BoM changing their site layout … on the one hand, statistics say that it’s not likely, given they haven’t updated the format those plain text weather reports are in in about the last 10 years (which probably means since the site’s creation) … OTOH, it could mean that it’s about due for a change (also, remember that statstics suck for predicting human behaviour in this way).
