Thinking Style Quiz
From Fuzzy, a quiz by BBC tries to match you to a particular mode of thinking. No surprises about what I got:
Logical-Mathematical thinkers:
– Like to understand patterns and relationships between objects or actions
– Try to understand the world in terms of causes and effects
– Are good at thinking critically, and solving problems creativelyCareers which suit Logical-Mathematical thinkers include: Physicist, Chemist, Biologist, Lawyer, Computer Programmer, Engineer, Inventor
It seems I’m both a Spatial and Logical-Mathematical thinker … interestingly I’m apparently not a linguistic thinker, even though I speak 4 languages…
im linguistic. no surprises there. recommended jobs: proofreader, librarian, salesperson, writer etc. i am a salesperson in a bookshop … uncanny. maybe i should do an arts degree and aim to be a librarian proofreader salesperson for the rest of my life.
and study latin again, apparently thats cool for linguists. sadly i already know some … nemo scit praeter me ubi soccus me pressat….
Ech … latin … I remember studying that at school in between Spatial and Logical-Mathematical thoughts…
http://lysy2.archives.nd.edu/cgi-bin/words.exe sure came in handy .. the those days tho we all had the program on our PCs…
quidquid latine dictum sit altum videtur ;p
hahaha
Non! Endo ergo sum.
Don’t you mean ‘minime’?
And I don’t know endo … that program says ‘swim out’ … but .. argh too much latin!! *head explodes*
I knew there must’ve been a reason I didn’t do latin at uni…
i eat therefore i am ….
i dont do latin at uni because i really haven’t figured out the fine art of enrolling in gen ed courses and i keep doing unrelated rubbish. but i’d do japanese or hindi anyway
I’m Intrapersonal. I think I stuffed up on the quiz. Totally foreign concepts on that little end bit.
I’m an intrapersonal thinker, oddly enough. Heh, they suggest politician, which I’ve been nicked as “Ex-Senator” for the longest time…
(reporting from school)
Who originally said: “nemo scit praeter me ubi soccus me pressat”? Is it attributed to any Roman or Latin work?
